Whooooa, jackpot! Check out all this tooth-rotting loot that's suddenly shown up in my room! Clearly, I have been making some mighty pirate Gods very happy.

Waaaaait a sec, this isn't one of those things where I eat the candy, and then all of a sudden I turn into a woman or a bunny or something, is it? Because I totally don't run that way. ...though I might risk it for the peanut butter cups. *cough*

Ohhh, THAT'S what the big pile was for. Darn. I'd probably better give it to you so that the big jerk doesn't do some horrible nasty thing to us.

He gives out some candy. Noticeably, there is a lack of peanut butter cups, but there's no way Tas has to know that.

No, probably not, otherwise everyone would be so busy asking for sweets that they wouldn't have any time to eat them. Well thanks!

Somehow, Guybrush now has significantly less candy than he should, and Tas's pouches are even more bulging than usual.

Guybrush is a Mighty Pirate. He is not, however, mighty observant. It'll probably take him a few minutes to notice.

The least I can do as a Mighty Pirate for the enterprising kids these days, after all. And to avoid smiting. Smiting's not fun, lemme tell you what.

Have you ever been smitten? I'd love to hear about that. I was almost smote once. It was in the grand temple of Istar right before the cataclysm. I got to watch the kingpriest try and ask the gods for power, but he was kind of rude about it, and so they dropped a firey mountain on the temple! Fortunately the Dark Queen (Who is not a nice lady at ALL) stole the temple, and me with it! So I didn't die AND I got to see the abyss, which was a very unpleasant place, let me tell you. Fortunately I met a gnome who could fix my time machine (I forgot to mention, I got a time machine from the Wizard Par-Salion. Well, actually I got it from my friend Caramon, but he got it from Par-Salion and...

And so on and so on and so on. Kenders always assume you want to hear their stories

There are several feeble attempts to interject and assure Tas that no, really, he doesn't need to hear all this, but eventually he just sort of settles in, his mighty pirate eyes sort of glassing over... by the time Tas finishes, Guybrush is probably asleep on his feet.

Call it poetic justice, in a way.

Always the kind soul, Tas drags a blanket over to Guybrush, then leaves, probably with several of the shinier things in the pirate's room stuffed into his pouches.

Guybrush will not be a happy camper when he wakes up. Though it's worth noting that if you stuffed that coconut he had into your loot, it's not gonna be there much longer. THAT is the power of the ETERNAL COCONUT.
